Critical raw materials are vital for the digital and green transitions.

Their demand is expected to increase dramatically in the next years, and Europe is almost completely dependent on one country for them.

This week, the European Parliament and the Council of the EU reached a political agreement on our Critical Raw Materials Act.

With this Act, the EU should have the capacity to extract 10%, process 40%, and recycle 25% of its annual consumption of strategic raw materials by 2030.
