As an American who cannot afford to come visit the EU myself but would 100 percent love to do a tour some day, I'm a little disappointed I'm ineligible for the prize (not that I expect I could have won anyway :P )

@EU_Commission - Why do I have to have to send my personal data to #Amazon in Virginia, #USA, to participate in a quiz of the European Commission? Poor digital economy in #EU, unable to host a simple quiz? According to the #privacy notice, "[a]ll personal data in electronic format (e-mails, documents, databases, uploaded batches of data, etc.) are stored on the servers of the European Commission or of its contractors". No information that the data goes right to the US. How about that, @EDPS ?
Rather than a lottery, a #EU-wide plan for changing the approach on the funding on #rail #infrastructure investment and maintenance costs—which are scandalously underfunded compared to #road—would be a much better way to celebrate.

@EU_Commission I feel like I'm cheating here, I knew all the answers except (of course) the last one.
The EU is really one of the best things to happen to humanity, which is why I left the US in 2016 for the Netherlands, never to return.
Keep up the good work! More people should know the benefits of being in the EU.
