Umm... it's complicated 😁

Github is mainly intended for software developers so it's not really designed as a public-facing support service.

Also, Github is owned by Microsoft who have done all kinds of controversial stuff since taking it over, so even many developers shun it.

So, I try not to say "Use github!" because I know most people can't, for one reason or other.
