@lartsch

p.s. Using this extension is really easy:

1. Log in through your server's website (your server's website is the last part of your handle, for example mine is mstdn.social)

2. Install FediAct on your web browser (Firefox or Chrome)

3. Go to FediAct's settings page and enter your server (so for example mine is mstdn.social)

...that's it! While you are logged in on your own server's website, you can also interact with any Mastodon site without having to log in again or copy/paste.

Unfortunately impossible to use on Ubuntu 16.04 because what it recognizes as "latest" Firefox is too old for this extension.

Hey, I would like to know what is this extension on your screenshot (it's on your Firefox addon page page!)

Btw, does that extension works with @pinafore ?

And why when I entered "mstdn.social" in input and clicked "Enter" key nothing happened?

I mean, nothing like open an web page where I could allow the app to have some permissions allowed and etc.

Like @pinafore and @sengi_app and @Whalebird does do.

Thanks for reading,

Yours, Expert Plus 😉

@feditips @lartsch Sugar. This old man left Twitter. And I’m happy I did. At the same time, these posts do not really help me understand. Can you be more detailed so this 57 year old understands? I’m not fussing. I just want to do what I can do to make this app better than Twitter. ❤️ FYI. I do technical writing so I am happy to volunteer my services.

@feditips didn't work for Firefox. The button is disabled and Download link downloads a file that fails when I open it.

@feditips @lartsch @just_alex so annoying this isn’t standard behaviour for Mastodon.

Hello. I installed the Firefox extension (Firefox is up to date) and it worked great for a day. Now, it's back to prompting me to sign into instances again, including people that I have followed. I clicked on install the extension again (web interface) and it says "Remove," so the extension is still installed. I'm using Firefox for Mac. I don't recall doing step number 3. Would you please provide the link to FediAct's settings page? Thank you.
