Once we realized that the Millennials would be able to achieve things that we could not, our goal became to hold the line against the Boomers. There was no meeting to decide this. No vote, no announcement. It was a collective realization. Gen X would wall off the Boomers from the future, and promote the tools that would allow Millennials and Gen Z to thrive.

We will not live to see the world you create. We would have no place in it. Make our sacrifice worthwhile.

And like any group, we have our collaborators. The Gen Xers who have become mini Boomers. Boomies. They are easy to spot. They are nothing like the rest of us in behavior. They too must be walled off.
