It seems like removing the Lemmy spam logic in fedidb.org led to a few obvious lemmy instances with huge spam counts being treated as accurate.

Working on the fix now, jeez, I wish lemmy got their shit together, not a good look fam

@dansup Beehaw.org's admins also published a post last week moaning about their suggestions for improvement to Lemmy just not being taken up, and that the Lemmy devs are really slow to improve spam management, etc. Beehaw was contemplating forking off from Lemmy, or starting their own network (hopefully ActivityPub I commented).
