I wouldn't shed a tear if Starlink went bankrupt, but I would be very disappointed if Starship didn't make it to orbit and beyond.

The former is an abuse of a globally available resource and a space junk producing and light polluting technology, while the latter, if viable, may be a breakthrough in space transportation, a necessary step for the advancement of space exploration.

@65dBnoise The problem there is satellite internet is sometimes the only way for very remote people/communities to get a net connection. Their alternative is being completely cut off from the net.

@65dBnoise Do you need 60Mbps to stream or play online games? That's seems excessive.

As for their service. I'm not a fan of Musk, but I do like more internet options, and rural folks always get the short end of it.
