@EU_Commission What happens to these sanctions if ever some form of peace would be achieved?

@EU_Commission One wonders why all these sanctions weren't imposed immediately when Russia invaded other sovereign countries, like Georgia in 2008 or Ukraine in 2014, or as soon as it was found that Russian democratic elections were fraudulent, and why EU countries continue to trade with Russia as though there has been moral wiggling room in the last two decades.
