@dansup I've put a lot of our devices on Smart plugs, not so much so I can have my phone turn them on or off, but mainly so I can monitor how much power everything is using. Got me to turn off my TV setup a lot more when we aren't using it!

@dansup I did the same thing over at our place as well, makes a huge difference when waltzing out into the kitchen for something later in the evening or early in the morning even.

@dansup yeah I switched to LED bulbs with zigbee a few years back and cut my bill a lot and the reason for the smarts is my partner never turned off the lights so it was easier to just program them turning themselves off when not home or during the day when the sun is out.
