This is the history that our liberal education often neglects.

We are told a sanitized story that Mandela was an imprisoned activist, which neglected the "terrorist" bombings he directed. While he was imprisoned, the brutal inhumanity of the apartheid regime, like the pic above, which those bombings were trying to oppose, was conveniently kept out of the narrative.
