@Gargron @vmstan manual upgrades aren’t too difficult — I upgraded manually from v3.1.x to v3.5.3 and the only issue was some clunky stuff with asset compilation.

I spent horrible hours by trying to upgrade Digital Ocean droplet to latest Ubuntu and Mastodon. I cried many times and finally lost my first instance 😭

Now it's the time to test how fine is the "Migration to new instance" part of Installation guide on joinmastodon.org 😁
