@dansup sooooo....what about those of us that already signed up for accounts on pixelfed.social? Can we change our auth mechanism, or is it just for new signups?

I've been holding off really getting into pixelfed, though I've had an account for months, because I've been under the impression an iOS app was coming Real Soon Now. But instead there seems to be a stream of interesting innovations that — did I mention this — I'm holding off on investigating because, you know, no app.

I don't mean to be unfriendly about this, and I know you've got a lot going on.

@dansup so you still make a pixelfed account instead of just the mastodon one? Would I be able to use the app and log in with my mastodon account?
