@EU_Commission Curious about the definition of โ€œrecyclingโ€ in this context.
Does โ€thermal recyclingโ€œ count? Downcycling to some cheap replacement material? What's the quota of packaging being recycled to new packages of the same quality?

@EU_Commission That's utter BS.

Most consumer plastic packaging consists of compounds that cannot be meaningfully recycled. Plus there are just too many forms of plastic (raw material + added chemicals).

We're still very very far away from zero waste. Even the highest numbers in the list are a disgrace.
