@EU_Commission Curious about the definition of “recycling” in this context.
Does ”thermal recycling“ count? Downcycling to some cheap replacement material? What's the quota of packaging being recycled to new packages of the same quality?

@EU_Commission That's utter BS.

Most consumer plastic packaging consists of compounds that cannot be meaningfully recycled. Plus there are just too many forms of plastic (raw material + added chemicals).

We're still very very far away from zero waste. Even the highest numbers in the list are a disgrace.
