@dansup I've seen a lot of friends complain about the Mastodon sign-up UX -- "why do I need to choose a server? What difference does it make? How do I choose one?"

Random idea: Select some interests (like Twitter on first launch), and randomly select a server that is the closest match in terms of interests.

I wish I knew Swift so I could make an iOS app, but I’m hopeful the incoming better PWA support along with notifications support in Safari will help.

@dansup hmm…It doesn’t say sexually explicit media is forbidden, just that it must be marked as sensitive. Does that mean pixelfed is friendly to sex workers (unlike instagram, Facebook, and almost every other platform)?

@dansup I like the rules. This should be always front and center so there is no confusion that hate language is never welcome. It also makes me more inclined to trust the developer.
