The onboarding process here is rough.

I'm still on the fence about #Westworld being cancelled. I would have loved to see how they would have wrapped up the whole thing. Hopefully they'll make a movie.

@feditips it’s a bit confusing to everyone that’s signing up. It’s not very intuitive for common non tech folk like me. It’s also not very intuitive how to change servers once you’ve signed up to a particular one… anyways things could be way more simplified and smooth …that’s all.

@feditips Would it make sense to create some kind of an aggregator sign-up platform, from where people could chose their favourite instance? Some comfortable landing page from where the transition would feel easy and smooth? Twitter customers may not feel easy with a temptation they can't fathom yet.

@feditips hey, I’m trying to join smaller servers in the provided link but it keeps insisting my password is incorrect but it’s not because it’s the same one I logged in with here, not sure if it’s a glitch.

I'm new here (from that other place) so apologies if this is a dumb question, but I don't see any sciencey (not technology) servers. Am I missing something?

@feditips it’s hard to decide what server to use if we don’t use a large one because we don’t know the rules each one has before you do all the work to switch I think?

@feditips If they’re connected, why can’t we join more than one server? Is the goal eventually a decentralized protocol using Blockchain?
