I have to admit, I'm still struggling to know how best to use Pixelfed, ironically because of its interoperability with Mastodon et al.

I can post on my Pixelfed account, but have few followers there, so get greater visibility if i share that post by boosting it with my Mastodon account. But then I might as well have posted on Mastodon in first place, and use that account to interact with a few others on Pixelfed.

I think I'm either overthinking or being stupid tho! Thougts?
