Some accounts use a "BOT" logo. This doesn't mean anything bad, it just means the account is posting in an automated way.

Lots of bots are useful or entertaining. For example the bot @VoteChess runs chess games where people vote on the next move. You can find more useful bots listed by @FediFollows at https://fedi.directory/tag/bots/

If you run a bot account, here's how to label it:

1. Log in through your server's website
2. Click "Edit profile"
3. Tick "This is a bot account"
4. Click "Save changes"
