Source authentication is an issue, of course, but then it applies not only to photos and metadata but to people too. Now, can you take that from someone like me, a pseudonymous persona? 🥴

It's a problem, and is immensely exaggerated by big tech (Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc) basing their business on user surveillance. They wouldn't exist otherwise.

I can't see how this can change under normal political discourse. It's already a monster embedded in the system.
