Our Emissions Trading Scheme ensures polluters pay for their greenhouse gas emissions and this revenue, through the , finances the transition to climate neutrality.

By year-end, our Innovation Fund will have secured €6.5 billion for 104 clean tech projects. This has the potential to avoid 470 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions (CO₂e).
