@dansup All Match Group apps do this. Hinge, match.com, OK Cupid, etc. And it's been known for a while. Dating apps that don't do this, ie: Bumble, are likely not owned by Match Group.

I know in the past, with OK Cupid, you had to pay for higher tiers to get access to the "attractive" profiles. When I read about that, I tried it (yeah, spent decent money on it) and bam, suddenly my prospects improved significantly.

I personally don't like dating apps that have this matching thing. I prefer ones where you just see people's profiles around you.
