Hard to believe it's 33 years!

To think Russia has decided to go down a dark path once again and that "miraculously and simultaneously" the UK chose by a 1.8% margin to leave the EU to somehow make it stronger??

But we must be positive, and that begins with honesty about cultural and economic and reality within a healthy democracy.

We in the UK are some way off from that in my opinion, but those principles are my guiding star

The fall of the Berlin wall was a momentous event, but the enlargement slowed down the momentum in the EU and weakened and negatively influenced the integration of the European Union and its institutions after the treaty of Maastricht.

#EU enlargement served more American interests than European interests. Zbigniew Brezinski refers to this in his book, "The Grand Chessboard, American Primacy And Its Geostrategic Imperatives" as he stated
