Ten European cities have been awarded the Label of the EU Mission for climate-Neutral and Smart Cities. They are:

🇩🇰 Sønderborg
🇸🇪 Stockholm
🇪🇸 Madrid, Valencia, Valladolid, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Zaragoza
The Label acknowledges a city’s commitment towards climate neutrality, creating policy at a local level together with the private sector and citizens.

Last but not least: It's proof of how progressive Spain has been. Hopefully the backlash at the last elections will be fought back.
