Hey, RSS fans 👋

You can get RSS feeds of any specific tag in fedi.directory by adding /feed/ to the end of the tag's URL.

For example the tag for "Gardening" is at the URL:

fedi.directory/tag/gardening/

...so if you wanted to use RSS to track all new gardening accounts, the feed would be:

fedi.directory/tag/gardening/f

When new accounts are added to tags you follow like this, they will appear in your RSS feed.

@FediFollows
Just to add it as well you can also get the RSS feed on any account by adding .RSS to the end (e.g. mastodon.online/@fedifollows.r).

@FediFollows This is very cool. I've already got something ready to plug it into. :)

@FediFollows And an RSS of your own posts is https://<server>/users/<name>.rss. Found it at mastodon.social/@brownpau/1005 . Unfortunately the content type is not set, at least not on my instance. So it is not usable in a CMS. In my browser it asks where to save the downloaded file,

@FediFollows Awesome tip! I listen to tons of music. To be able to put fedi.directory/tag/indie-music in my RSS reader makes me so happy.
