The world knows about Mother Teresa, though not about the genocide that reduced Bengal from a prosperous, culturally rich region, to a famine-ravaged region.

@workingclasshistory Churchill is still venerated in Britain much the way the US venerates the founding fathers as their national pantheon. No politician would dare speak ill of him.
