@dansup I made an account like that to use as a business page - because no way was I linking all my personal stuff to the business - but it did that to me, too. Made account, got blocked, added phone # to unblock, appealed, got blocked permanently. No dice - and I hadn't even managed to log in and read anything, let alone post anything.
I never bothered trying to advertise on Insta because of it, so it's definitely cost them actual money doing this.

@dansup This is their standard practice. They do it for all new Insta accounts, so they can force you to enter phone number and other details.
