While we are on the topic of another wave of joiners, does the #Fediverse have the legal support it needs?

I guess I mean, once it becomes truly a threat to Big Tech, these companies will react with every legal dirty trick in the book. And then some.

Also wondering if the best defence is a good offence... As in, is there any public interest litigation that could strengthen the position of the Fediverse?
