Apparently there is now a genuine "Mastodon For Dummies" book:

It's a real physical book, it's in bookshops and libraries! Depending on where you live, it's out now or out this week.

I haven't read it (yet) but the index seems promising and it even mentions non-Mastodon Fediverse platforms including lesser known ones like @inventaire

@feditips @inventaire @technomancy my local library already has the ebook version up for loan; I’m waiting to see if they get physical copies as well. If and when they do, I’m going down and have a look at it (and perhaps even borrow it for a bit).
