The Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union is now fully at work!

And to celebrate the 13th Presidency of Belgium, a new €2 coin will be issued in the Eurozone.

Since January until the end of June, Belgium will work on different priorities: from pursuing a green and just transition, to promoting a global Europe.

Each country in the Eurozone can issue two commemorative coins per year. These coins have the same properties and appearance as regular €2 coins.
