@feditips I get a "performing lookup" message then it opens in the app (Tusky for Android).

@feditips Mona on iOS displays the post for that link as a normal post, not as a web page.

I’m surprised other apps would open the post as a web page – which is user hostile – even the official Mastodon app. 😟

@feditips I chose the 1st option , but I did notice a slight pause and the words "performing lookup" appear briefly at the bottom of my screen, before it appeared in the app looking the same as a normal post.
