@feditips I'm using the Elk App on Android, but the link opens Mastodon in a browser window.

@feditips Trunks on Android shows it both as a quote toot, but also resolves the link and shows the post in-app when following the link.

@feditips It opens as a normal post on the app but with a small difference: before showing the post of the link a message appears at the bottom that says "performing a lookup...".
I'm using Tusky.

@feditips for me, it opens a browser page *within* the app. i'm not sure of the significance of that, or what category in the poll it belongs to. i put down "other" since i wasn't quite sure which to put.

@feditips Using Tusky and it said "performing look-up" before opening in the browser. For others it seemed to open in the app, so maybe it has to do with federation? Or my phone's just weird

I get a message asking me which of my accounts to open the status with or an emulation of an account on the instance in question. I'm using Subway Tooter.
