@dansup several apps let users select which icon they want to use on their phone.. why not give Pixelfed users the same option?

@dansup 3rd row, last one on the right is the one that for me connects best with what it represents, which I think should be the point of a logo?
They all look cool but which one will people immediately associate with Pixelfed, rather than any other brand whose name starts with a P?

@dansup You did. The color palette gives people a hint what to expect, while the circular nature means the image isn’t getting cut off when used in spots that get trimmed to that. It’s simple, but effective. The others could have worked, and some probably just as well or close enough, but this one clearly isn’t the wrong choice, and that, combined with what I’ve said above, makes it the right one. 😄
