@darius @anildash I am not lonely, no.

@darius I started off into the Fediverse with a solo instance over five years ago, and never thought it was lonely (even though it was quite some work to find an initial group of contacts, and most threads I look at are full of holes even today).
But yeah, I'm pretty certain it's not a good choice for everyone (or most people even).

@darius @evan I'm not too worried about loneliness, I am significantly worried about being admin on a public server I don't know/understand well.

@darius @evan @anildash I don’t find it lonely. The advice I got and seems to be working: over follow both people and hashtags and prune later.

It fills your feeds with a diverse set and then you can start curating.
