In other news, I'm about half done a significant backend refactor in home timelines!

Moving from SQL backed home timelines to a more performant in-memory pub/sub arch similar to Mastodon.

Faster feeds, real-time updates and reduced resource usage are the goals 🚀

@dansup Am I the only one seeing some strangeness in following accounts lately? (on pixelfed.social) I tried to follow a user on another pixelfed instance (pixelfed.sdf.org) and can't see any pictures that he's posted. @snowdusk Also, I'm not seeing newer (than 11/28) pictures from this account, but it used to work fine. (following my own pixelfed.social account)
