Politics & Racism (Scott Adams)

This is how far the right wing in America has gone.

Adams said that all black people in America are part of a hate group, and that all white people should avoid ANY AND ALL black people.

You can't get more directly racist than that. And yet he's stunned that there's backlash.

@drmaddkap "Gave some advice everyone agreed with."

Clearly not, because you've been dropped.

@drmaddkap

Whenever this comes up, I think about a book we had when I was a kid. It was basically all the early Dilbert strips, with author's commentary scribbled between them.

In one of them, there's a joke about a janitor or security guard who habitually steals food from desks. Adams wrote (as I recall), "I got complaints about this one. Someone at the publisher colors these and they chose a bad time to add racial diversity."

That was 25 years ago. 🤔

@drmaddkap It's the U.S. American's understanding of freedom of speech that is 'I can say what I want without facing any consequences whatsoever".

@drmaddkap I'm sure that paid subscription of his won't make up the salary he was receiving from all those major publications. What a joke.

Also, Musk seems to be taking his side which validates even further the reason I dumped twitter.

@drmaddkap "The core belief of modern conservatism is that there is an 'in' group that is protected by law, but not bound by it, and an 'out' group that is bound by law and not protected by it"

i.e. Freedom of being an asshole without consequences.
