If you start typing @ fedifollows (without the space) it should automatically suggest my account? And you can just select me there?

If that isn't happening, it could be that your server is having a bit of a difficult time right now due to the continuing influx of new users.

(Apparently some hosting companies aren't able to do upgrades at weekends so hopefully situation improves tomorrow.)
