If you haven't already, would strongly recommend pinning an introductory toot to your profile. If you have particular images or video or audio you want to feature, they can be attached to pinned toots.

Also, pinned toots are automatically "backfilled" so you never have a blank profile on any server.

To add a pinned toot:

1. Log in with a third party app or through your server's website
2. Go to the toot you want to pin
3. Click ⋯ and "pin on profile"

You can also pin several toots at once!

@feditips nice tip about pinned toots being backfilled for other servers!! i wish more toots got backfilled in the same way, or that there was a way to manually load more without leaving your own server

@feditips Is this backfilling thing about the effect, that I see in a person's profile the number of toots, but none them is shown except I visit the profile via web?
Thanks for help in advance, because I just don't get it how / when this effect pops up.🤔 If I answer to a toot from that profile via web, all toots are shown on app / on my instance and works then "normally".
