Oh, yes. Jupiter has one more role to play. It did us great good when it ate one by one all rogue asteroids, shepherding the rest into that more or less harmless orbit. So, when the Sun cools down as a white dwarf, after having become a red giant (which is when we'll leave Earth for Europa etc), we will ignite Jupiter to gain some time for the rest of humanity to move to another planetary system. So those brown clouds are actually our future fuel 😬 .
