@Gargron @cassidyjames that's great to know, I like the official Android app, but the lack of updates regarding it while reading so much about the iOS app was worrying me. 😅

@Gargron Plz consider writing on the joinmastodon website AND on the android/ios descriptions of the apps to ask people to use the mobile/web site instead of the apps for the time being. We are losing a LOT of new users because the app doesn't work well. Lots of complains about it. Plz tell ppl to use the web for now. It needs to be written on all the pages/sites where the app is available, so people know what to do from the get go, before they get a bad first impression.
