@pylapp Yes, I plan to open source the apps once they are ready.

I get asked this a lot, and the reason they are not open source right now is because I'm finalizing the new backend APIs and changing stuff so frequently.

Once the app is matured and released to the app stores, I will open source it.

This is so easy to underestimate. My first steps into the open source world have been very small in comparison, but i still feel naked, like all of history is looking back at me, saying “dude, why are your commit notes so lazy?” So, good for you, working out what you want on your terms, before you publish it to everyone. @dansup @pylapp

@dansup @pylapp yeah that’s fair. Can’t imagine forking something that’s changing rapidly is a great experience.

But hey once things are finalized and it does go open source, it’ll get even better for sure!
