Your timeline will show all posts by everyone you follow. However, if you follow a lot of people you may not have time to read it all.

To make sure you don't miss an account's posts:

1. Log in on your server's website, or third party apps like Ice Cubes, Toot!, Tusky, Fedilab etc

2. Go to profile of the person you follow

3. Click bell 🔔 icon

Their posts will appear in your timeline as usual, but you'll also get a notification.

@feditips I didn't know this exists so what I did already years ago is I created a list of people I really don't want to miss any posts from and added it as another timeline. This way I always see it easily and don't miss anything;

For me that does not seem to notify of their replies to others, only their original posts.

@feditips Duh, I completely forgot that you can press the 🔔 and get notifications for less frequent posters on #Mastodon!
