@Gargron @ForfarFairLady @IngridHbn Indeed, thank you sir. Alas, I’m not technical enough to understand why @ForfarFairLady doesn’t see it. Sync error? Different app? My sole point in reacting was that there are slightly more nice ways to ask for ALT text, instead of finger pointing erroneously. 😎
@ForfarFairLady @VastBee @IngridHbn @vmstan Is there a bug or misconfiguration here? When viewed from my instance (vmst.io), alt text on that picture does NOT show for me, using the web interface; nor does Copy Alt Text Chrome extension pick it up.
But if I go to the original page on mastodon.online, the alt text appears.
Alt text on other mastodon.online images does appear on vmst.io, though. Maybe just this one image is wonky somehow?
