@TerribleMaps google maps (from cartographic perspective) is one of the worst maps. Hierarchy, communication, colours, generalisation.
@TerribleMaps an old version of the Kerguelen island map. No one lives there, but the Fiench cartography institute IGN is tasked with doing maps of all French territories.
They sent a plane to fly over the island and take pictures to use as a reference for the map. But it was cloudy that day. They didn't bother sending the plane a second time, and so the map just says "clouds" in some areas.
