I think it's useful to think about what the "perfect" version of a process might be.

What would a test suite without flakes look like?
What would a website that loaded in < 1 sec 100% of the time look like?

It's not achievable, but creates interesting ideas.

@nateberkopec totally agree. And having the ideal end state in mind helps orient ideas in the right direction. Otherwise it’s really easy to end up veering off course by only looking at the next incremental change, or trying to only “fix” something
