We know what Russia says is often the opposite of what it means.

The Kremlin is spreading disinformation, aiming to manipulate public opinion by claiming false historical information to justify the Russian aggression against Ukraine.

However, we will not be swayed by its false narratives and deceit.

We stand with Ukraine and will continue to support it in its fight for truth and justice.

Watch how we debunk Putin’s disinformation campaign 👇

@EU_Commission Liar, thief, killer, fascist. I'm happy to see that European officials finally name Putin properly.

@EU_Commission Nice. Can you do the same for Israel vs Palestine?

@EU_Commission
Unfortunately, the "land for peace" crowd among leftists and liberals (e.g. Noam Chomsky, Chris Hedges) have a tendency to lap up those lies uncritically.

@EU_Commission

Putin and the Kremlin have the same messaging strategies as Republicans and Tories.

"Upside-down & Backwards" narratives.

@EU_Commission Yeah? I'd really like to see some sort of peace agreement. Not a fan of being pushed into WW3.

@EU_Commission sounds like exactly what the traitors in our own congress are doing. Lies, lies, lies - reaching an audience hungry to believe all the negativity in order to rationalize their out-of-control behaviors.

@EU_Commission While this campaign may have a fair point, presenting interpretations of actions or theories that are plausible as "facts" seems a bit off to me. How do you know if Russia has been fearing Ukraine becoming a European country or whether Russia has been "planning to invade ever since"? It is probably true, but as it cannot be verified, posting this on social media is pure opinion making and not a presentation of facts, as one might expect from an official governmental account.

@EU_Commission please...
You are doing censorship by banning rt.com and sputnik and you expect people to believe your propaganda?
I don't need "mansplaining".
There is so much Ukrainian disinformation but also Russian as well.
You took Kosovo away from Yugoslavia.
Well Russia is not as weak and won't let itself be bullied by a vasall of the USA.
The Ukrainian lies against Serbia are everywhere, why? Because Serbia is not a US puppet?
You need to change your narrative.

@EU_Commission why is the international court of justice not acknowledged by the USA?
Why has despite countless occasions of war crimes, not a single soldier been made to stand trial for their actions?

Before you start pointing fingers, clean up your own yard first!
