After about the age of 13 I pretty much did no art until my mid- to late-40s. At school I struggled with art classes (using your imagination is tricky when you have aphantasia, and that is all that art seemed to be for me). So I concentrated on sciences & mathematics.

I am a self-taught artist, and I am still teaching myself to draw and paint. It is an ongoing situation that I hope I never reach the end of. I also hope I never become satisfied with what I create.
