Basically, fill in your profile and write some posts. Blank accounts will never get listed anywhere.

After you've done that, approach some directories:

https://fedi.directory is for accounts that focus on specific topics.

https://communitywiki.org/trunk and https://fediverse.info/explore/people are for general personal accounts as well as specific ones.
