@willoremus a post that you boosted? no. I don't *think* there is a technical reason for it other than it's one more thing to put strain on the network that implementors would rather avoid.

there might have been a design reason for this at some point but I can't find relevant discussion when I search the project github

@darius thanks! yeah maybe not a feature that most people care about. but i liked knowing on twitter when something i RT'd--especially from a small account or someone i know--reached my followers, possibly introducing them to a new account to follow themselves.
