@dansup If commercial platforms are going to join the Fediverse they need to comply with Fediverse post archival and deletion rules.
Me? I'd probably opt for an instance that de-federates from Tumblr/Meta/Instagram. I'm not on those platforms for a reason and that is because they can't be trusted with my content and data, and that still stands.
We shouldn't accept being content farms for AI projects nor have our content archived for longer than our accounts retention period is set.

@dansup I am certainly not looking forward to it, and sincerely doubt it will work out for anyone other than Meta’s shareholders.
