What is „inch“?
Printer don‘t have pixles but dots.
Fonts don‘t have dots but vectors.

PDF files contain pages of a certain size.
The size are set by the creator
ussually in cm / mm or even exotic units.
The maximum is <see previous toot>.
Printet sheets show the page content 1:1
or scaled otherwise.
The more DPI is printed, the better it looks.

@TerribleMaps Dpi (dots per inch) or ppi (pixels per inch) is a standard measurement of visual fidelity at smaller scales. It's a measure of the amount of information is actually within a document of a certain size
