@dansup @pixelfed Is there any plans for HEVC/H.624 support? Tried to upload a short video but realised the app at least doesn’t seem to support it. Or have I missed something?

@dansup @pixelfed we’re the ones who should be thankful for giving us Pixelfed! Are you planning on adding multiple account support on the app soon, or will that be further down the line?

@dansup @berkes this is a great decision in my opinion. Web should be opt-in, rather than opt-out, no matter what, as long as it’s clear and easy to do so.

The core of the fediverse is a more ethical approach to digital life and there’s no real reason to revoke it even if 99% opt-in. That only shows how easy it is for users to make their own choices.

@dansup I don’t think business accounts is a terrible idea. Nuking spammers will be a lot of extra work for admins, and adding a way for people to interact with companies can be a way to get even more users to do the switch.

I get that it’s drifting away from the core values of Pixelfed but maybe it’s a necessity for growth?
